From the other side I have some issues when buying from UK .

Apperently from the agreement that has been reached this has  complicated the process . My couriers have informed me that if there was not a deal it would have been easier to process as it would automatically just be buying from a country similar to the US . Package arrives just pay customs and VAt and done . with what has been agreed , they have to verify country of origin , to see if it from UK it is really from UK so that there is no abuse etc

Anyway ,hope fully things will get smoother along the way .

Hi all,
Need some help on fork stantions lenght .
Many available on ebay but confused on size . Some say they 580 mm and others 605mm . I have not got mine out yet .
Would someone confirm proper size for models 72/76.

Thanks

I have used them several times and I send items from Malta to them . Normally I speak to a guy Sam.

When I had a couple of items which I thought they were not so perfect they redid with no issues . Also return time was reasonable. I have never had exhaust items done .

I Got a bath from ebay and allways works for me.

I use neutracon cleaner as it is suited for parts that can corrode .

http://www.decon.co.uk/english/neutracon.asp

I give them around an hour all parts and at 50 degrees and allways managed to clean them. Important is that if possible try to remove the bulky stuff prior to put it the ultrasonic bath .

Hope this works for you

I would like to put in a couple of words in this topic .

I have bought quite a few bikes From David Silver lately and he is very nice to deal with . I ask for a discount and some times I get it and sometimes we do manage to arrange a price . Lets face it he does know the market . Also in my opinion as already mentioned his bike prices I think are more realistic than other sellers .

Also as for for after sales they can be very reliable in my opinion from return of parts ,  to even help getting an original lost title.

You  sometimes mention that he does not offer free shipping on parts ,  that is true but at least normally it is a fixed price. Also imagine for us abroad the shipping cost is much more expensive !!

Uli should you go ahead and be interested in a particular bike , just ask them for more detailed pictures and any history that they have about it and I am sure that they will fully co operate and help in any way possible.

The above is only my personal opinion from the experience I have from dealing with them.
