No  Iam just wondering if there is a push rod to operate clutch  ( I am used to older bikes not familiar with the 400) I am just thinking that their should be a rod there before I fit springs and Plate. When I fit the new plates and tighten up and lock the castellated  is there a push rod or does anything go through the hole.

Hi guys the pest is back I am painting my  1977   yellow 400/4 Tank and Side panels I have them painted and Lacquered and now want to fit the new Decals. I bought these from Classic motorcycle decals about 3 years ago now ready to fit them. Can anyone give me advice on fitting
I think   they are to be put in water to remove from backing. Any advice would be appreciated. My son says to put soapy water on tank to help move around would that be right. Any advice or tips

Other Bikes / Speedo Varadero
« on: January 22, 2015, 02:23:02 PM »
Hi guys I hope someone can help. My Son has a 2011 Honda Varadero with an intermittent speedo and ABS. In cold weather it works for a few miles then the speedo fails and ABS light comes on. He has cleaned contacts and sprayed all connections with WD40. But problem persists. It can come ok anytime then fail again. Any ideas.

I dealt with Dennis at noxandrattles who supplies Stainless Parts for 400/4 He told me he had stripped lots of 400/4 engines and never came across a washer on the camshaft, Today he contacted meto let me know he was doing the Topend of a 400/4 and lo and behold there was a a washer on the camshaft.
