It's called Northern 'Umour.
Is the mud and sh1t extra as I can see the price is inflated to take account of the deep seated patina (or rust as it's more commonly called).
Most of the stuff you can see is only fit for the skip, so God knows what the unseen and hidden stuff is like.

its 2 grand for a frame, engine for rebuild and hubs - as you say, the rest is scrap!

I can see the potential, there's nothing there that a good scrub with Flash and a polish with Mr Sheen won't sort out ;D

Someone else expecting silly money for a canal find POS because it's a 'fast appreciating classic '.
Looks like one of the deepest money pits I've seen for a while.

Canal find?? nah
"been in a dry barn"
Hahahahahahahaa ;D ;D ;D

I can see what's likely to have happened;
It's supposed to say 'stored NEAR a dry barn'. An easy mistake to make with all this auto tie pin and spell chequers.

He says he'll swap for a car or camper van, find one in similar condition for him. A mate of mine does diving in gravel pits, he may have come across a candidate or two.

Found it
(You get 50 EUR when you pic it up)

Me thinks this would be a more appropriate swap, similar patina 😁😁😁

I did pull a KE175 out of the Grand union canal back in the 80's, cleaned it up and used it as a field bike. Good little runner but, don't think it had been in the water more than a week.

Not many barns in Southport, not even any trawlers any more
