Title: Can a 550 loom fit a 500/4

Hi, just got to the wiring nightmare I have a good 550 loom but I do not know how to adapt it to my 500 any help greatly appreciated.

It can be done but not easily, depends on the year of the 500 and you need the 550 electric panel and handlebar switches to make it easier

Depending on year you may have an issue of where the ignition switch is located.

If you have the original loom repair is easier than adapting one from a different bike.

Ok thanks for that. I have just ordered one from dk as just the layout of the 550 is strange with the power going to the rear block?

Make sure its's not off a 500K0 model  as the multi-way connectors  are different (they are round pin on K0)
