Title: Honda CB 400 four bearing codes
Post by: eem46 on May 09, 2017, 11:12:33 AM
Dear All,

I know this subject passes a lot on the forum, but this is my first Honda CB 400 Four engine so I would like to double check the bearing info.

My crankcase stamps outside are BBBBB
My crank paint says: A1 A1 B1 B1 2
My conrods paint says: 1 2(bit blurry, see pic) 3 3

So my cranks bearing codes are: B1 B1 B1 B1 B2, so that is Green, Green, Green, Green and ? (Please advise color shell B2)

Conrods will be: A1 A2 B3 B3, so that is ? Yellow ? ? Please advise color shell A1 and B3

Thanks a lot.

Kind regards,

Emiel

Thanks Oddjob!

Do you also agree that the number in the picture on the conrod is a 2?

Kind regards,

Emiel
