Hi All,
have an issue with my friends CB750.
Was all working fine but now the problem is that it will only go into 1st & 2nd gear.
Its like you are in top after that with it hitting a stop when you try to go into 3rd - any ideas?
This happens even without the engine running.

Easy first step would be to check selector mechanism behind L/H sprocket cover - they are quite flimsy and a part may have bent. It will only take a few minutes to take the cover off

Dont forget after 2nd both shafts need to be turning to get gears
