I finally got all the bits together!
Went to start the engine and all that happens is a blowing a main fuse.
I think I have put together cabling in correctly on the starter solenoid.
I have 2x red cables one form battery and second for the loom on one side and on left there is black original cable going to the starter motor.
there are also two short cables going to the loom which color match the solenoid so I think that is ok.
Could anyone be kind and took a picture of the wiring around the solenoid?
Any thoughts?

I have attached an image of the harness CB550F solenoid connections, small picture which may not be very clear
Solenoid connection 2 wire (Yellow/red socket) & (Dark green/red plug)
Safety switch 2 wire (Dark green/red +) & (Light green/red -)

I dont have the original solenoid, mine is a nighthawk 650 model, which i got as a replacement of a car solenoid which was fitted by previous owner.
Looking at your post the connections are clear but I wonder if fitting a solenoid 180 degrees(as it is round) will mean that i'm fitting the thick cable from starter motor on opposite side -wrong side. would that make the fuse to blow? does it matter which side you plug the thick positive cable to it?

So here it is pic of my solenoid in stead the congestion charge...
Should I swap it 180 degrees?

You. can, but it shouldn't make any difference as the heavy starter cable isn't fused.

The wiring depends on the year and type of the RH switch.
Early ones you have a black power wire to the solenoid and the other small one goes via the loom and headlamp to the RH switch where it is earthed to the bars when you push the button
Later ones have one wire at the solenoid earthed (Via the safety interlock i think) whilst the RH switch button provides power via the headlamp and loom so if you got a mix n match you could be going straight to earth with power when you press the button.
You need to inspect the RH swith to see what it does then work from there

As previous posts, I do not think that the orientation of the heavy duty starter motor connections would blow the main fuse.
The CB550K had a 2 wire starter switch as the CB550F has a 3 wire starter switch. You may need a CB550F wiring diagram
If it helps the Clymer manual (code M332) only covers the earlier CB550K wiring.

A starter solenoid is one of the easiest things to wire up - almost as easy as a light bulb. No circuit diagram needed.
Starter goes to one big terminal, 12V goes to the other big terminal and one of the small terminals
Red/yellow connects to the other small terminal.
You may have to swap the small terminals over to get it to go.
No, it won't blow the fuse.

Still no bloody clue why the main fuse keeps blowing I bet it is something obvious...
I wonder if there's a way of having a fuse which I can re-set it in stead blowing new one each time, so I can test what component is messing me about.

15 amp glass type, i have seen blade type you can re set

Just use 15amp fuse wire to test it.
Saves looking for glass fuses

Presuming the fuse blows when you press starter button?
If so you're sending 12v positive straight to negative or in other words a dead short which you obviously know as the fuse is blowing. Really solution is to inspect your wiring connections against the wiring diagram for your model one by one and you should spot the problem. Have you by any chance mistakenly bolted a switched live to the frame instead of an earth? Did you have the starter switch apart and trap a wire on reassembly?
