Another one for Oddjob.........I bought a Zundapp Bella Scooter (similar to this photo) from QPM - when they were on Broad Street, Salford about 1966 - cost me a fiver and it never ran properly.

The first of many..............

I would have been a bit peed off if I bought a new bike from them and they drilled two holes in the rear guard to put pop rivets in to fix their dealer label !

Even more peed off that the thing you didn't want in the first place, and holes in your guard you didn't ask for, wasn't in the bloody middle. :o

Bought a few bikes from QPM - 72 500Four and 2 GS1000. When I part ex'd my 3 year old ZIB with 33,000 miles on the clock, I asked where they wanted me to park the bike when I arrived to pick up the new GS, the Z1 was that mint, they just opened the show room door and I rode it straight into the showroom window!
Great memories!

Well that looks familiar, we went to stickers later on, there's a bunch of them on my Snap-On toolbox  :) the K2 was before my time there though. I would have been there when you picked up the GS1000s though Phil. Kinda like the K2 but for some reason the K4 really floated my boat, not sure why. We got a gold K4 in which had KEN--P on the plate, I wanted to buy it as it was my name and last name initial and it was a K4, the owner wanted £100 for it and that was a weeks wage then so I passed. Really wish I'd bought it now, if only for the Reg.

I thought KEN --P would be a G5 Ken not a K4 ?... funny I have never had the urge to restore a K4 , even though I have owned  every variant K0->K4. We never got the last one in the UK  the K5 (G or B model in Germany) that had a disc front end, we only got G5 model, which is a totally different bikel. My mate Chris in Japan has a K5 350 pictured here .....known as the 'Dream Senior' model in Japan :-
