A K2. We never had K2s. Were they sold in Europe or is this an import?
Also what happened to the honda4fun site? It shows as a blocked (virus) site. Do not try.

Yes, these CB500K2s were traded in 1976-7 in continental Europe and have probably been assembled in 1975-6. Mine for instance was first admitted february 1977. The Parts List deals with three submodels: ED, F en G, knowing: European Direct Sales, France and Germany resp. This 'European' K2 is different to the CB500K2-A, that was already on the US market in 1973. A bit strange is, that where our enginenumbers are younger, our framenumbers are older than the K2-A. Odd, because ours share many 'new' things with the CB550K2 that was on the US market not before 1976. But Honda motorcycles and numbers... Our K2s came in: Excel black, Candy sapphire blue and Candy garnet brown. In Holland they might well have been a batch for grey import, I really don't know. This model K2 may have served to empty the shelves of CB500 parts, as Honda later also did with the CB500K3, who knows? Shouldn't the k0 fuse panel have round pin plugs?

Woodside, only the very early K0 i think the loom etc changed from a number not a model
