Can anyone tell me what thread OEM stems have? I’ve been through all my boxes and can’t find any that fit!

What bike do you mean? Do you mean the clamp bolts on the stems?
-
Do you mean indicator stems for a 500/4🤔🤔
-
Yeah, it’s the rear stems, I’ve got the nuts at the front but don’t know what the thread is. All OEM as far as I can tell.

These are 500/4 OEM, so yours are like this are they(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200625/db13c2733c304a312875b9faa5df093d.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200625/9bba496e0f6595d83e9ae420f795d90d.jpg)

I don’t thing mines the same as yours - the stems I have match those on the front. These holes are blank, not threaded, go through to hold the mudguard. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200625/db66c1d22074420592a7668cb4ae842d.jpg)

You have lots of bits missing, like the plates, rubbers, washers etc, etc, etc. The stems you have are not OEM for rear of this model.

I thought so but they have the same thread as the front ones, if I can source the nuts I can put them on without some bodged brackets. Bike is off the road on the lift, this is the last job to do on the rear end, then I can spin it round and do the forks, caliper seals, brake hoses/line, throttle cables, headlamp wiring, and just get out and ride it!
It’ll have to remain a bitsa for now, but I love riding it as is

The nuts are supposed to be part of the chromed mudguard and originally would have been 6 or 8 mm

Get a thread pitch gauge, dirt cheap and will last you forever.

Sorted, got these of eBay and they fit perfectly.
