Title: Indicator stem threads
Post by: mickandsej on June 25, 2020, 08:26:02 PM: Can anyone tell me what thread OEM stems have? I’ve been through all my boxes and can’t find any that fit!

Post by: Nurse Julie on June 25, 2020, 09:56:14 PM: You have lots of bits missing, like the plates, rubbers, washers etc, etc, etc. The stems you have are not OEM for rear of this model.

Post by: mickandsej on June 25, 2020, 10:02:21 PM: I thought so but they have the same thread as the front ones, if I can source the nuts I can put them on without some bodged brackets. Bike is off the road on the lift, this is the last job to do on the rear end, then I can spin it round and do the forks, caliper seals, brake hoses/line, throttle cables, headlamp wiring, and just get out and ride it!
It’ll have to remain a bitsa for now, but I love riding it as is

Get a thread pitch gauge, dirt cheap and will last you forever.
