Hello.
Can anyone tell me the original finish on the case screws on cb250rsa ?
Tia.

They were all BZP. This includes the cylinder head studs and the studs between the barrel and head (the ones that sieze!).

Thank you Dave.
When you say "The ones that seize" I'm struggling to find any on the RS.
That don't!
Sean.

Apologies Sean I made a mistake. All the engine case screws, head bolts, valve lifter cable bracket that attaches to the clutch cover (and also the one on the rocker cover) are all plated olive green. Same applies to the Kickstarter, rear brake pedal, front rear mudguard (the metal part that normally rots!) and the battery carrier.
I couldn't find a plater who could do the olive green so went for BZP on all the nuts, bolts and brackets. I had the inner mudguard, battery carrier painted black. The Kickstarter and rear brake pedal were chrome plated.
Honda built the CB250RS down to a price so nothing was chrome plated. The Kickstarter has a really rough cast finish.
