Hi all
Hope you are all well
Ok Got my 38 idle jets from Allen’s performance for my CB400F and noticed that they are slightly longer than my 40’s

I presume this is normal as just means the bottom of the jet is just deeper in the float bowl fuel level
Any advice welcome
Best wishes Al

I'd agree with your assessment, the fuel level is relevant in relation to the venturi and not the base of the jet.
Should be not noticeable in theory, but you'll only get a true test in situ to see what the combustion colour is.
