Title: Gear change shaft seal?

Hi just checking my cases and found this?

I presume it’s the remains of the gear change shaft oil seal and need removal and replacement?

Is it also a bearing combined with an oil seal?

And advise welcome

Not a bearing, thats in the case but yes old seal needs to come out and replace with new
