Hi all,
I bought online a couple of cb400f to rebuild. Price was okay but one of the bikes has a 350F engine. For the bike with the 350f engine, I'm considering a café racer restyle and was looking to replace the engine. In Australia the 400/f engine is like hens' teeth and was wondering whether anyone has grafted another engine type in the 400/f frame.
Welcome you input.

The CB400N Superdream twin has a frame quite similar to the 400f frame. If one of those engines is available it may be possible o fit it. I've never seen it done, someone on here might have more info.

Non of the other fours will fit without majour cutting/welding, why not just use the 350 and overbore it with a cruzinimage kit BUT you MUST unse a firm that understands AND STICKS TO to super tight clearances used by Honda for there piston to bore or it will smoke like a train
