Title: DVLA new registration
Post by: Sesman on January 18, 2022, 11:12:58 AM
Just got my registration through for the imported and renovated 73 K2 500.

About 5 weeks from initiation to being given a number, including a vehicle inspector visit.

I think that’s prey good…isn’t it?

Strangely I have the letter confirming my registration allocation, but they haven’t sent the new V5. Does that arrive later?

Always a relief to get the bike registered, your never sure what problem might be conjured up when there is no history with the bike which was the case with mine.

Hi
When I did mine about 4 years ago the V5 turned up the day after the notification letter, but my local Halfords did let me use the notification letter to get the registration plates made.

Cheers, Dave.

Halfrauds kicked me back, insisting on the V5. No explanation was given.

Iv’e spoken to DVLA and guess what, it should arrive tomorrow.
