I've always suspected my K to be a 'bitza' . Serial nos: would suggest a K1 frame and possibly a K6 engine. The bike has been 'done up' but not restored. Should I try to get as close to a K1 or to a K6? :-\

I would go for a K1, what No's do you have on your frame and engine? just to confirm which 'K' you have
Wellcome to the site

According to the Haynes Great Bikes series book (CB750) You have a K1 frame and a K5 engine. The K6 engine No's started 2428762
77,000 K1's produced from August 1970-November1971.The K1 was the only CB750 to have the RED wing emblem on the side panels, other models are orange.
