Post by: Hinomaru on February 02, 2011, 07:18:25 PM
I'm also Hinomaru over on the USA SOHC forums: http://forums.sohc4.net/ (http://forums.sohc4.net/)

I live in the USA and enjoy the CB750 K models, thought I would register here and join in.  ;D

You'll probably spot some familiar names over here.

Dear Mr Hinomaru,

Welcome to Great Britain, but do remember that the dress code is strictly tweed, upper lip must be stiff at all times and loud and boorish behavior should be avoided at all costs.

I have seen your posts on the 'alternative forum'; you will be most welcome here.

Yours

Sir Hubert

OK Guys, Thank You for the warm welcome, it's very much appreciated!  ;D  I'll admit to being weak on British terminology and spelling, but I think I can catch on. Don't let my "Hinomaru" screen name fool you as my real name is John. I picked Hinomaru because it means the national flag of Japan. See the link below for more information:

John.

I wrote a FAQ on .net called "Divided by a Common Language" (http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=5281) (or something like that), but it appears to have gone  ???

It was a celebration of linguistic differences...

Whilst travelling in the USA I quickly learned that asking someone if they "would like a fag" was not the same thing as it is over here.
