Yes they really make a difference, I had a set made up for the F1 (and a set for the F2)they look great and hopefully they will also be easier to get in and out after the bike has covered more miles.

Anyone bought any of Phil Denton's (http://www.phildentonengineering.com/) stuff?

I was thinking about replacing all of my frame bolts with his stainless stuff right up to the point where I looked at the prices . . .

I haven't checked , BUT I reckon this could well be much cheaper than D.Silvers prices on stock items...I remember buying a swing arm bolt for the best part of

Not checked the detail, but these folk seemed reasonable (supply engine studs rather than bolts for the long ones)

I like their system of grouping bolts in sections, this is what I did with my rebuild, I made lists of required bolts based on the Parts Manual pages, ordered them from Custom Fasteners and kept them in marked up Zip Loc bags. However where you could see them I used re plated original bolts.

Nice man that Phil Denton and his products are absolutely superb. I've used them for my bikes for years. OK stainless doesn't come cheap especially if it's a 'one-off' or small batch item, but you pays your money and takes your choice at the end of the day.

I wasn't sure just how expensive he was until I looked at his velocity stacks :o
