Title: Exhaust paint

Can anybody recommend a good exhaust paint? am after some black prefer gloss or silk. Just need to get rid of motad have a marvin which should look and sound better until I get around to making 4 into 2.
Also what are the best fork seals to use? any on flea bay any good. Cheers Tom.

PJ1 used to be the stuff, but not sure if it is available anymore. The Simonize is good stuff and has a good history

What we used to do in the trade was have the system blasted and Hot Alluminimum sprayed by a local firm them used a product called Sperex. Been a Looong time though so don't even know if its still made

Cheers lads have ordered a couple of tins its only temporary no time to make new exhaust yet and can't look at that Motad any longer. Bike paint will be sorted this week happy days.

I used a paint called VHT Flame Proof Spraypaint. The temp range is 1300-2000 degrees F and 704-1093 degrees Celcius. It is designed for headers and high heat exhaust pipes. Here is a pic. Hope this helps.....
