Title: Clip Ons or Ace Bars???

What have peeps tried on their 400/4's and any opinions?

We used ace bars in the 70's on all the fours.  They use the standard mounting points (clip-ons leave those nasty pillars on your top yoke) and in those days, came drilled to accept the cables.

They are also less radical than clip-ons... (for those of us who have graduated onto sit-up "adventure" bikes  8) )

I have decided to opt for adjustable clubmans bars.  The Tommaselli type as originally fitted on the Laverda Jota.

Update:  The Tommaselli bars looked awful and fouled the tank on full lock ::) and have been returned.  I am going for clip-ons instead.

Not sure the mix of a 60 year old and clipons is going to be a good nix. ;D
