Title: 400F Engine Gasket Set
Post by: Lobo on January 27, 2013, 09:39:53 AM
Morn all,

Asking whether the complete AFTERMARKET DSS Gasket set at £39+VAT is a good buy, or would I be wasting my money?

The OEM bits would come in at significantly over £100, plus I'd be left with sourcing the odd hard-to-find bits to complete the full set.

Ta..

Hiya,

I have two pattern gasket set. One Vesrah, one NE. Both have eight green o-rings measuring about 12mm O/D. I can't for the life of me find where they are supposed to go. I've stripped done three 400 engines and haven't come across them :-\. Does any one know what they are for?

Cheers
Steve

They go on the valve guides before you fit them in the head---Bin them
