Title: CB750k7 engine oil rings
Post by: ginger_jim on June 24, 2013, 09:47:11 AM
Calling all engine builders!  Oil Rings are latest thing to keep me awake at night!  I need the oil ring/seal for the oil way tube, which is about an inch wide, in the crankcase.  Does anyone know what the part number is?  Also in the attached picture of the crankcases I need the two oil rings marked 22.  I have a feeling that they are 11x2.5 seals, and if im right that means I need 2 for the crankcases and two for the Barrels?

Has anyone any medical experience of how to help a 44 year old man with Honda obsessive/compulsive disorders  ;D???

Cheers to all!

Hi Jim,
Take a look at cmsnl.com and you may get your answers there. If I remember right the ones between barrel and head are different.Did you mean the o ring for the main oil gallery? They do stock them if so.
Cheers

Hi Bitsa  - managed to get an original Honda parts list so problems solved.  Also got a list for K1 and K2 so if anyone wants any pages scanned drop me a line.  Cheers

In answer to your second question, there is no cure I'm afraid :-[
