Hi, anyone know if there are any yoke / steering stem sets from other bikes that would fit straight onto a 500K1. ? Standard yokes are 45mm offest, looking for something with an offset of 30 to 35mm. So far I have the attached list of bikes with the same steering stem diameters, headstock bearing seat diameters, stem bearing height (ie they take the same steering stem bearings) and the same fork tube sizes. But cant find any info on steering stem length dimensions or yoke offsets

got a quote for a one off CNC alloy set of £350 + VAT from D&M Engineering at http://www.d-mengineering.co.uk/ Probably a bit out of mine (well okay , the wife's) budget. Still keen to know if there are any straight bolt on swops from other bikes that would do the job

Cb250 and 400 twin / superdream yokes swap into the headstock - but given you've done so much work on the twin disks I cann't see you considering that route - I don't think the 550 forks would fit those yokes - substancially different desighn. However 250 yokes are cast iron / drop forged steel? bottom and a steel plate top plate, so might be possible to heat and bend the bottom yoke and adapt or re make the top yoke to alter rake. But as I say, I cannot see you going that route as you'd need to undo so much to fit your wheels to new forks / calipers or fit comstars.
It is possible to drift the stem out of a set of yokes after grinding the weld (if there is one - there won't be on alloy yokes) off. That might leave you more options for mix and match of yokes. I'm afraid I don't know of which yokes fit 550 forks.
