Welcome - I'm just along the road in Brighton / Hove. Nice collection you have there...

Welcome.
I love those 885 Triumphs. Given your chosen username, I assume that you ride that in preference to the Pan?
I had a Trident Sprint 900 and a Daytona 900 along the way. Currently just a Tiger 800 and the 500/4.
Steve
PS: put your location in your profile (and a picture if you like).

Meant to ask do you know Andy Remnant up in Horsted Keynes - he has an A10 RGS rep and think he's in the same clubs as you..?

Welcome nice varied selection of bikes (just noticed how many James has greedy git)
The early T300 Triumphs are the best my dads Trophy 1200 is coming up to 90k and has never played up and goes like stink being the full power model. My Triumph on the other hand has been crap from day one.

Thanks to all of you who have welcomed me to the forum.
The Pan actually gets more use than the Sprint nowadays which I have had from new, got it from Paul Smarts shop in Edenbridge when it was still there. Has such a lovely torquey engine and a pleasure to ride still with the early 1200's even more so.
I actually traded my old CB 750K2 in for a new first generation Kawasaki Z1000 at the same place some years previously before he became a Triumph dealer.
Had a Tiger 1050 just recently but could not get used to the on/off action of the fuel injection so got rid of it
Don't know Andy Remnant by name he may belong to the Kent or Surrey section?
Good to see that there are a number of 'local' forum members.
As indicated, I am currently looking to find another CB 750K2 which I am actively engaged without much success so if any of you know somebody who has one for sale or can advise the best place to find one it would be appreciated.
Attached photos of my original new CB 750K2 and then a couple of years later when the exhaust had been replaced because the original had rotted, nothing apparently has changed on that score.

Hi ye, Great site here for info.
Just checked DVLA and your old bike is still on the road, tax runs out on Feb 2015.
Just don't get up hopes of finding it, it's a nightmare.
I have some British iron as well.
Good luck getting another 750

Hi Rich
That it is still on the DVLA is a surprise. After trading it in at Paul Smarts shop one of his mechanics bought it and I was told that it had been stolen? Would be nice to know where it is now, but as you say too much hassle.

Thanks Rich
Have sent seller a message and will see what transpires.
Ideally happy to pay a bit more for one that has been sorted but if the mileage is genuine it should not need much engine work?
