Title: Could be a good investment

Looks nice but, seems too cheap to me>> http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1970-Honda-CB750-K0-Diecast-Classic-/191410069696?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item2c90ede0c0

Well, he does admit to being a suzuki nut, and anyone who wants a 2 stroke 500 twin rather than the bike he's selling is criminally insane, if I had the money I'd snap it up!:))

I think it is a shame when people build a bike but, then skimp on things that can not be seen by the public. But, all in all i think it is a good deal as long as other parts have not been skimped on.

Plastic seat is better than no seat. It is also a really easy part to replace so I can well see why fit one just to get the bike finished, legal and sold. Decent metal ones can become a bit of a mission to find.

Yes given the price he is asking you can forgive a plastic seat, however as mentioned what other cheap nasty bits are on there, these sort of bikes fetch the good money when every effort has been made to keep them original spec, its getting easier and easier to build up a nice looking bike with shiny aftermarket parts, the collectors tend to want original, however it does look nice at that price, it should sell easily

I sold my K2 for £350 all those years ago  (mistake)

I just panic when the "investment" word is used- as a supplier of bits I am keen to have the bikes out being used as motorcycles  - and hopefully buying more bits as things wear out

must agree,  always think a Honda four is a true "Drivers bike"  its way to functional a motorcycle to be over-restored, nice to see but sadly is becoming some sort of investment piece, and owners are being shafted for the cost of parts.

I would like that paint job though.
