Brilliant photos, thanks Mike, I hadn't seen that done before, fascinating and I showed my 20 year old son the shots as well to make what his grandparents generation had to live through a little more real. Great post.

Thanks Mike,

I'd love to see more (now that I've worked out how to see both images... der!).

It's thanks to those people that we can still ride bikes of our choice, visit other countries and not fear saying the wrong thing in public, never mind on forums!

I will be sharing this link with buddies in who also enjoy and respect history stuff.
