Nice.
Im having a lathe spindle ground, hard chromed and re ground at the moment and ill be asking if they will do stanchions when I go and collect it.
Good thing with being in sheffield is there are loads of engineers and at least 3 people doing grinding/chroming repair work.

Did you just send them the tubes? What did it cost?

I had a KZ650B1 that the PO had the  stanchions hard chromed plated by Philpots ....  absolutely superb. I am going to build a special CB350K0 and the forks are only partially plated (like 750K0) but I need the whole stanchion to be chromed, so will definitely use them for that.

Can't see if it includes VAT or not and what his postage charges are like.

Price includes VAT and the post. Put the caps in and they will be done for free, while your folks are with them, get them to do a hard chrome on the head of the rear wheel spindle  ;)
