Cheers Kevin.

Kevin - for the cost of the service you may want to consider getting yourself a small machine & doing it yourself.

It's pretty straightforward - happy to walk you through the process...

Pete..

I did have an Ultrawave 25L tank until it broke last year after 3 years of regular use...need to send it back to them to be fixed..

http://www.ultrawave.co.uk/qs25.html

I bought the following 6.5L tank on ebay a few months ago to temporarily replace it - is heated and has a 30min timer and I'm very impressed so far for the cost.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ultrasonic-Cleaner-Professional-Heated-Unit-Digital-Basket-1-3L-2L-3L-6L-10L-15L-/380820021982?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&var=&hash=item58aaa462de

Also I generally change the fluid between cleans and with a larger tank this gets expensive as more of the solution is used / wasted.

Sorry meant to say with the 6.5 L tank you can easily get two of the four CB750 carb bodies in there. I generally put them in as pairs and work on the clean pair whilst the other air is cleaning.

Also, if you have stuck float pins / stubborn to remove parts it's worth soaking the while carb unit at 60-70 deg for 10-15 mins, then quickly remove and try again to freee up / remove the parts that were stuck.

I've brought back quote a few sets of carbs from the grave that looked uneconomical to refurbish / clean.

James. I wouldn't say £1921.32p was all that cheap for the Ultrawave on your URL. The others don't seem bad though. What fluid are you using in there to clean carbs? Had my 750 carbs cleaned locally and it left a residue that stopped the float valves closing properly.

I bought one at Christmas and its a 10 ltr one. Have a regular order for carb cleaning and they work very well its a must if you do quite a few items. You can make some spare cash by doing others carbs I have already got my money back and its also paid for a shot blaster
