Title: Hello from Birkenhead, England
Post by: BrianC500 on July 22, 2015, 10:22:49 PM
Hi I've been off 2 wheels for nearly 22 years. I've just started a CB400F Restoration with my eldest son. The bike is a 1975 model bought from Mike Weston motorcycles, Birkenhead and is owned by my brother who has had the bike from new. It has lain unused in a damp lock up for almost 23 years and is looking sorry for itself. We aim to put is back to it's 1975 condition.

Welcome to our happy gang Brian. I assume you're either a bank robber or lottery winner ;D? Your plan sounds very expensive, but very do able as there is a mass of new parts available for the 400/4, but if buying pattern parts, check if anyone else on here has used them, as some are absolute rubbish, others equal to OEM quality, and some even better than original.
