Looks like a good deal. Wonder if it's been restored or not?

A few cheap 400's about at the moment. Classic M/C have one up for just over the grand ;)

I hear you trig
But I bet it's not a low mileage low owner bike that's pretty much all there ..
There's no substitute for low mileage classics....especially Hondas
Also there are loads of people who want these bikes but have no access to workshops or even have the aptitude to sort them ...so cheap doer uppers are not an option...I know it's top money for one that's still a project but for a ton of people it's a better place to start than a 1000 pound complete rebuild....

I hear ya!
I just bought what I thought in my naivety was a bargain 400 at £900, but my god it needs some work!!
My advice being new to this is spend a bit more and make sure all the bits are there! mines cost me way more than I expected at this stage!
The specialist honda tools alone will set you back close to £100 to remove the clutch, wheel hub retainers etc etc, then there's things like worn cams and cranks due to high mileage, it soons adds up!
Seems like a nice bike though.
