Title: Forks refresh on my cb750
Post by: Pearson4586 on October 20, 2015, 11:12:18 AM
Hello, wanting a refresh on my front forks on my cb750. It hasn't had fresh oil in a year or so and the seals will need replacing, does anybody know of anywhere that do a rebuild including the above?

Many thanks

It's actually a relatively simple job to do yourself, seals and circlips are cheap enough, and there is plenty of good advice available on here if you find it daunting. It will be very expensive to get a dealer/garage to do it.

I fancy a set of Progressive fork springs over the winter, they did wonders for my HD 1200 Sportster, which was very softly sprung from new. Has anyone experience of these springs?

Thanks for your ideas, Id rather leave it to a specialist in all honesty. I found these guys on the web http://www.brooksuspension.co.uk/honda-cb750-forks-rebuild-repair-service.html they offer a full rebuild with new seals and oil, inspection, polish tubes and so on for only £119.99 for the pair. I think thats a reasonably good price, they have some good reviews too. Has anyone had any experience with them in the past?
