Hi Guys,
I've been meaning to post some pics for a while, here is a bit of the story I bought this bike of eBay. I think it was a good deal as I got loads of new spares. It was a non runner and was stood for the last 8 years since brought from USA I was intending to just fix it and make it roadworthy but I changed my mind. (Sorry!!) the idea was to do a brat style but keeping the old look.
I can take any credit of the build but I have done some things my self like the carbs and other bits which is quite satisfying.
Well the build is coming to the end so I can post some pics for you.

It's looking really good.....most Cafe/ Brat bikes look rubbish around the Oil Tank/ Tool box/ Air Filter areas, but yours looks great......a really simple idea but it just works so well.
Don't knock the fact that you haven't done all the work yourself.....some can, some can't, some are too busy with other things in their lives.......but I congratulate you that you have resurrected a tired old wreck and turned it into a spectacular machine which many people will appreciate for many years to come.
I'm looking forward to seeing it completed.

Wow thank you for the great feed back! I wanted to keep the honda look so I've tried to kept as much as I could, I don't like the empty space on these bikes at first the idea was to keep the original side panels but the were too bulky since the seat is narrower so we need it fill up that space with something original.
Just finishing the electrics and looking for some velocity stack air intakes.... I will het proper Pics once finished!
Any tips where can I buy the velocity stacks?
Thank you!

Going through MOT this Saturday!! Hopefully next step is send all the paperwork and receive my v5!!!

that looks so good,
it should go through the MOT

that looks so good,
it should go through the MOT
I will post a video of it running this Saturday!
Still got a few things to sort out
- HT lead from cylinder one is too short I think I will need to put a new coil as I'm it sure that only the cable can be changed.
- carbs synchronizing
- find out if there is something wrong with my clutch because it is very stiff/heavy
- there is a noise from the front right fork... I have no idea what is it.
But good enough to pass the MOT send all the papers to the DVLA and hopefully have a v5 and a age related reg in two weeks!
I still have work to be done on the bike... Like handlebars, installing mini switches... Etc

reading your to-do list,
what about mud guards?

That is one nice looking bike look forward to seeing a video of it .

When I got my 400 it hadn't been used much recently and the clutch was also very stiff.
I removed the cable and couldn't even move the inner by hand, it was so stiff - beats me how the clutch worked at all.
A new cable quickly solved that one.

MOT done! Next step is filling up the v55 and sending all the paperwork to the DVLA and get the precious v5.
No pics yet! As I dropped the bike to the garage to have the carbs set up straight away from the MOT.
Exciting times!
