Title: Why are k7s less valuable than k6s?
Post by: pablo on November 10, 2015, 07:48:33 PM
Hi
There seems to be a gulf in prices between k6 and k7. The k6 is definitely a prettier bike with the exhausts with a seam and the chrome fuel tank cap on show but is that it or am I missing something?
Thanks
Pablo

Hi Pablo

I think that is exactly it the earlier bikes are in my opinion far better looking than the K7 variant.

Same as any really early Z1's are more expensive than Z900's, early GT Suzuki 2 strokes are worth more than the later B models. I suppose even if you compare the CB750's, K0's and K1's seem to be more desirable than K2 onwards even though they're almost identical.

Guess we are all right! From looking a decent k6 seems to be £5-7k whereas a k7 nearer £3k. It's a big difference.
