Wrong carbs clocks etc at first glance or is it an interim...dunno.

Saw that and thought the same. To the untrained eye I recon somewhere between 4-5k..?
-
Went for almost 4k which is probably about right IMHO
-
That was a very cheap bike !! & in looked in very decent condition to say it was a barn fine
-
Somebody has stolen that. Looking at the price of restored K0's, less than 4k? Doesn't look like it needs too much doing either.
-
It was simply advertising.
A friend of the seller made a bid of - say 6000 - and they simply waited.
No one did a bid that high so the seller didn't sell.(Well he did, but to his friend).
And in the end they both tell ebay that no transaction has been done (for any reason whatsoever) so they don't have to pay the selling fees.
And in about a couple of months the seller puts it up for sale again.
Thats 'working' ebay in your favour.

I dont think DK's would be bothering with that. Pretty sure this is sold.
-
DK are very protective about their eBay rating .. my dealings with them are that they do everything by the book and if you are not happy with the sale they refund very freely .... quite often letting you keep the part. very variable on spares pricing though.
-
This doesn't damage their ebay rating in any way whatsoever.
Better jet; even if you don't sell or brake of a sale you can still get a good recomandation.
This is not about the seller; this is how ebay works (or how people often use ebay). You will be surprised how often this is done with auctions.
But yes, it is always possible they simply sold that bike for that price.
-
not sure of DK but twowheelservices have blocked me from bidding on ebay after I asked to many honest questions about a part. the picture was blurry.
hey ho

Guess you could always create another eBay user ID. Might need a different email address, I don't know how it works.
Buy a few cheap items to get some feedback (10 often seems to be a minimum value) then away you go!
