I will soon be looking to apply for an age related registration form my 1971 500 Four K0 that was imported from USA in 2015.
I have all the correct Nova paperwork etc but may be struggling struggling to get a proof of age document that DVLA will accept
. I contacted Honda in the USA who sent me the attached but DVLA said they need to know both Year AND Month of manufacture but the person I had on teh phone was pertty clueless.
Does anyone by any chance know if the attached would be acceptable as proof of age documentation, Honda USA are saying this is all they can provide.
Thanks all

I haven't heard of a need to provide the year and month before, although that doesn't mean much ....
Last year I got the year of manufacture held by DVLA for my 400/4 (a UK bike) corrected.
It was recorded as 1981 but should have been 1977 (planning ahead for Historic Vehicle class).
I used a dating letter from VJMC as evidence. The DVLA accept these, but they only show the year not the month of manufacture.
Details of the service here: http://www.vjmc.com/classic-motorcycle-dating-service-a.html.

I had no problem with the DVLA using a Honda UK letter with year only quoted,
I think the person at DVLA has got it wrong,

Honda U.K. will ONLY give dating evidence for bikes sold new in the U.K., your best bet will be the VJMCC

I can tell you that was built 10/71 but your best bet is the VJMC although you might have to have it "Inspected" by DVLA at your cost
