I am sure this has been asked a hundred times but i am looking for tyre recommendations for my 500 4 project
I would prefer to err with more modern technology that privides maybe asofter compound and bettrer grip han trying to keep a "classic" look
What would fellow riders recommend
-
I use Avons
Roadrider, 3.25 X 19 front
4.00 X 18 rear,
they grip well, run at 27 psi front,33 psi rear,
great dry and wet grip,
will last about 4,500 miles on the rear, maybe double on the front,

Thanks
Probably a stupid question but i note the Roadrider is shown as a tubeless tyre do you have to fit tubes anyway on the honda rims
-
Yes, and if you use tubeless tyres with a tube, it reduces the speed rating. Therefore a V rated tyre becomes H rated, but that is not an issue with our bikes due to the fact H rated is more than adequate for the speeds they are capable of.

I've got Roadriders as well and they're great

Roadriders here as well.

Look like Roadriders get the majority vote then :D :D
