I've been poking about on tyre suppliers websites and got a bit confused as I can't find matching TT (tube type) for front and rear in the the same make. Obviously they need a tube, but do they need to be TT type?
A local supplies pointed me toward Pirelli City Demon, Has anyone got experience with them?

I use Avon Roadriders fitted with tubes, as I think a number of others on this site also do.
Avon recommend 90/90-18 (51V) for the front and 100/90-18 (56V) for the rear.
Apparently fitting tubes reduces the speed rating slightly but as V-rated tyres are good for 149 mph I don't think that should be a problem!

On the advice of Chris400f I,ve bought a pair of Avon Roadriders.
Much better choice if you go for uprated tubeless type.
Looking forward to getting it on it's wheels.

Got city demon tyres on mine was the dealer r@s tyres 29oakland road leicester ? rob his name he had my 750k2 of me. :)

Don't use a 90/90 on the back, use a 100/90. The 90 is a bastard to fit and looks like a rich tea biscuit.

Anyone know what the Maxxis classic ones are like that DS sell & also fit to their 400/4 restoration bikes?
BTW DS turned down a friend of mine who offered his '68 CB250SS and a 500/K0 to loan to his museum. He was told that those models were already covered in the museum collection already. He did however suggest that if my mate is ever in line to sell, that they are going to have a room next door selling classics. The museum is going to be fronted by Roger Etcell (http://www.honda-classics.co.uk/) who was the head Honcho at Honda UK back in the day. Think it's due to open in July' ish.

Know Roger very well, he lives in Towcester, Met Ian Bland (Director of marketing, Honda UK) just before the new year, cost me a small fortune as I bought some police bikes that the force had order many years ago and never put on the road.

How about the Maxxis tyres Graham? Are they any good ? Thinking more of my 250/350 twins really as they look as close to standard as I can find.

I fitted the Avon Roadriders 90/90 front and 100/90 rear and they look OK but rear looks a bit skinny compared with modern bikes.
The chassis is almost complete and I'm about to start on the engine. (see pic)

Maxxis tyres are good all year round on my good lady's 650 site hawk, good grip in all weather's, and reasonably long lasting, and an okay price.

Has anyone bought a new seat from DS. they look OK from the photos and seem almost too cheap if that's possible ?
I got a cover from DS as a spare and for 10 quid 'ish it was a cracking deal and decent quality. His seats used to be made by Morreti (Bob the Seat is Gloucestershire) but not sure if they are now (Trigger may know)
BTW did anyone see Bikepushers NOS seat sale

It still doesn't quite stack up as a business venture though... Think he gets bikes delivered, which has got be at least £100 extra, plus 13.5% to eBay & PayPal on two grand is £273 on his sales. Maybe he makes it on the smaller remaining items but think I will stick to electronics to make a crust. Can't help thinking that if he wasn't so picky about delivery and sold items like engines /wheels BIN he would do a lot better. He auctioned a really low miler CB350 engine and only got £100 for it but if he had palletized it and offered delivery or kept the motor and frame together he would have done a lot better. I could forgive him more if he kept engine/frame combination together as a single auction.
