Not SOHC related, but for those on the forum that also run 2 strokes;
When heating your baffles to cherry red with a blow torch to burn off carbon don't forget milliseconds later and pick the baffle up, it will be very painful and remove your thumbprint !😵

Yep. Amazingly, thumbprints have a way of rebuilding themselves (sadly).

Years ago I worked for a Company which made Shot Blast machines - bloody big Industrial ones - as big as a Garden Shed. My mate cut an opening in the top for an Access Hatch using a Oxy Acetylene Torch.

I heard the clang as the 'door' was cut out and fell into the chamber.....then my mate climbed down inside to retrieve it.......bracing himself with his hands on the newly 'torched' edges.

I can still hear his screams............nearly as loud as my laughter.

Yes I'm just trying to think of a lucrative crime to commit before it returns 😀
