... just dont appreciate the grand gesture. apparently, she wants a 'proper vase' whatever that is.

It's the Thought that counts. If you got rid of the Daffodils and polished the Marshall, she'd understand!....

Should have got it chromed, women like us blokes to make an effort she keeps telling me.
