Hi all, I've decided to lose my rearsets and revert to standard foot controls. I've managed to source all the parts appart from the rear engine hanger bolt which the front footpegs attach to. DS don't stock one but a company on eBay have an M12x360mm in stock which is threaded on either end. Anyone know if this is the correct size?
Thanks for your help.

What bike would help
-
Doh, well spotted - the bikes a 1978 CB550 K3.
Thanks mate.

According to my parts book its the same as a 500 with a nut on each end so as long as the diameter is correct a piece of studbar would do the job
-
Thanks Bryanj, diameter is fine so I'll get some threaded stud bar. Thanks for your help.

Just cleaning up this bolt on my F1. It is a fine thread as standard M12 x 1.25.
-
Thanks Seabeower - good point about the thread. Cheers.

The original is a fine thread but if you are using stub bar just get the nuts that fit, though I would advise nylocks so they don't vibrate off which is probably why fine thread was used originaly

Thanks everyone, all sorted now :)
