I have removed the engine from the frame and would like to bolt it in my engine stand. the only way I can see is to use the back two mounts ( the rear of the trans) my question will the aluminium hold the weight and support the engine at only two rear points, is seems very heavy. Billy

Hi, well I have been enjoying my G5 for a few months. done about 1K and all OK except when I put my indicators on if stationary (low rev)they are fine, however if approaching roundabouts (higher revs) they flash intermittently. any ideas?

just got the 250 G5 running smooth not bad for 38 year old. went down the garage and back about a mile or so. when i left it on the side stand for ten mins I notice a little oil weeping from I think the head gasket. I replaced the oil seals on the rear bolt channels but they were not Honda parts, the gasket set came with the bits. I do not fancy stripping the head and barrels of again. so what l am thinking. book the MOT and ride the 10 miles there and check helpfully it will pass then ride home and re evaluate. Billy

Hi, I think I have put the cam back in correct,,,,,,,,, but is there a way to make sure. I have turned the roto around by spanner and not valves hitting the piston. but doubt has crept in. I do know where TDC is but how do i know when TDC on the compression stroke is? Billy

Hi, I am confused...I have just bought a pair of forks that were off a K5 when they arrived they looked like they were for twin disc. the screw holes for the disk on the right side have never been used. are theses correct or should the right leg be plain?

Can anyone tell me if the downpipes for a G5 are the same as a CJ250, or a CB250N. I am struggling to find down pipes for my G5 resto.
