managed to get both damaged studs out, and was not an easy task. welding was the only way for these two. one was right down to the end and welded a nut after leaving in soak of WD40 for a week, the other being longer also had the soak, but welded a longer strip of metal all the way down to the base giving more chance it would hold, and this one came out easier :-)

Thank you Brian, the two in mine are broke and have to remove them, so far with welding nuts on, no joy, will leave them in soak for a week before I try again, realy appreciate your help..

to be clearer, its the front ones part No 90034-323-005 (approx 13cm long), these are a little shorter than the rear ones :-)

thank you Johnny, the old gasket is completely damaged beyond measurement, had to scrap off, but thank you for the tip

All the kits have different depth head gaskets. Thank you nurse Julie any adea on the difference I should be looking for from gasket thicknes to `O ring`? or how would you work out what size would be best to use? thank you again 10
