Cant believe the bids on that as its nothing more than a pile of junk, and its not even made reserve yet. I guess if you just put the K0 thing in the advert up goes the price. All your buying here is a K0 frame and what's the use of that without the correct engine? Is anybody on here a bidder?

Provided inside of the circlip is unscathed, it should be OK, and with the boot in place as well as the lever, any butchery should be invisible.

Not impossible. It's like nailing jelly to the ceiling though. It took me well over an hour. The trick is to make the aforementioned sharpened chisel - like screwdrivers dig in to the metal, prising the circlip out as far as you can, keeping it there while you dig the second one in. Once the clip is free of the groove, it's relatively simple. No, I'm not volunteering to go through that again.
Oh go on....see if you can beat your personal best time ... It's a great challenge
