There's a comprehensive report on this in MCN I think last week. Seems the claims are exaggerated. I've still got the copy if anyone is interested but it's probably on their website by now. Cheers Scott

Hi there. Apologies in advance if this question has been asked already, I did a search on 'frames' and a lot came back .
Anyone know of any frame differences between a UK bike registered 01 Jun 1972 and U.S. frames 1971-176? Thanks, Scott 19

OK, so I may be better off buying a new, complete frame e.g. a U.S. import. Only downside is that I would have to register it. The bike I have just bought has a V5. Thanks, Scott

Hi all. I own a KTM 790 Duke and have just acquired a CB500 Four 1972 which I want to restore. The rear foot rest brackets have corroded. Any suggestions for alternatives, I'm thinking maybe I can fabricate a couple. Thanks Scott
