Naw, iwhen I was biking regularly the battery never had a chance to go flat, if it did then it got a quick whizz on a car charger, all this stuff is new to me !

CB750 / Battery tender« on: November 28, 2007, 10:34:39 AM »
Hi guys,
Been reading about these on the US site, the F1 is tucked up in bed now as my geriatric knees do not like the cold however I want to keep the bike ready to roll, so is there a UK equivelant, something to keep the battery in top condition and ready to roll ? Cheers Den 1627

Hi Steve, the bowl should just screw off, in the past I have had to get rough with one though.

CB750 / Re: F2 electrics« on: November 05, 2007, 10:35:54 AM »
Just did the same to my F1, cleaned every last connector, spotted on the dialectric grease and hey presto it all works, be very slow and methodical. I also got rid of any mods that I had made to the electrics since buying it new in 1976. Alos check all the frame ground points and clean them up.

CB500/550 / Re: cb500/4 front brake« on: November 05, 2007, 10:33:10 AM »
Hi Florence,
Sounds like a mighty expensive way to improve (maybe) your front brake, I had a Kawasaki Mach III with a TLS front brake and was glad when I swapped to a CB750 with a front disc. What have you tried to improve your front brake, have you rebuilt your master cylinder, or considered changing to a more modern one, how is your caliper piston/seal have you got braided hoses, is there any air in the system (fit speed bleeders is a good idea). Unless you spend a lot of money on a racing TLS it might be cheaper to overhaul and upgrade your existing disc. Cheers Den 1634
