I haven't tightened up any of the fork bolts yet but good spot  and yes all new spring and bolt for the adjuster.

Just putting my front wheel on it lookis as if the disc is a bit close to the stanchion.

well after 48 hrs it looks like its breaking down. now to make a jig to turn it slowly with some nuts and bolts to make a first class job

 i have sealed my other 3 bikes with POR 50 and after 3 years they are holding great happy just to get this crud out.

so far I have tried petrol and then Acetone noting. i would leave with just petrol and use but the liner is about 1 inch thick at the bottom and it keeps stopping the fuel exiting. i have ordered some MEK (read on the other forum this will shift anyrhing) fingers crossed.
so far spent £60 may have got another tank for that  ;D

ok so i think i have done it i think




i had to dremel the bottom of the fork ears as they had built them up with copper and chrome



then they went up over the base OK but it was tight

but my collars won't go over the shrouds, they have been re chromed and they did them twice. perhaps i need to dremel them slightly so they do fit over the shrouds,

ps just done the carb rubbers see what you mean LOL
