Make sure you clean up the contacts that the fuse holder fits into.  A lot of power going through a high resistance connection = Chernobyl and you'll be back where you started.

The outer casings of the pilot lamp holders are connected to 0V (green) for the high beam, left and right.
The oil pressure and neutral outer casings are connected to 12V (black)

Flasher relay, green-0V,  black-12V,  grey-indicator switch

I use a 17mm impact socket to remove them, a hexagonal socket not a bi hex.
