Good man. I camp on my mates garden in Balaugh.
I could sleep in the house no problem.
But it just wouldn't feel right after camping at 40 TT & 18 Mgp's
That German K was a bit Orange, dont you think?
I'll be over next year on the K1 I'm building at the moment.
Roll on TT19.

Hello Bryan.
I have a Serek oil cooler from a F1 i had yonks ago.
But i have lost the bolt adaptor that hold the sandwich plate in place. So i have had one made.
But when the filter bolt is tightened, the filter housing is 10mm of the plate. I cannot make the female thread any deeper,
But i can shorten the thread on the bolt.
This is why i asked about bolt lengths.
Sean.

I find Pirelli city demon, s to be exellent
In all conditions.
I also get good mileage. They also have quite a period look to them.
I have them on my Yas1, Cb175, T250, & T500.

I have not seen one in the flesh.
But will the spanner fit the chain adjusters?
If so then the shank may fit the hole in the rear spindle to a aid its removal.
Just a thought.

Why would a black plate be any different to fit
Than a yellow plate?

CB750 / Re: Speedo damping?
« on: August 02, 2018, 04:00:24 PM »
Hello Ash.
I have looked at a few old threads on this subject.
There appears to be quite a difference between the K1 & F1
Speedo's in the damping pot dept.
The F1 has Very small bullet shaped pot that looks more like some sort of weight than anything else.
I cant think how the damping works.
There is no sign of a seal or joint.
I would post a pic but im a bit of a Dunce in the IT dept.

CB750 / Speedo damping?
« on: July 28, 2018, 09:37:20 PM »
Hello.
I have a 750f1 speedo apart for refurb, but it has no damping.
What substance should i use & where do i put it?
Obviously i dont want a bouncy needle on a rebuilt speedo.
I already have clock needles like windscreen wipers on my T500. Most annoying.
So your help would be appreciated.
Sean.

Around the early 80's Padgetts of Batley.
Had a bike dealership in Preston called Express motors.
And I distinctly remember then selling a few NOS Honda 550's amongst other models. As your bike is not a million miles from Preston. So that could be a explanation.
Padgetts still have a load of NOS bike stashed away.
How I'd love to have a rummage in their warehouse.
