I've just done this with a small screwdriver. Did you buy genuine HONDA parts?

CB750 / CB750 KO handle bar

Although, to my knowledge, KO's allways came with the high bar, I don't like it.

Fitted a lower bar on my red KO. Not sure what I will do with the bluegreen one.

So before twiddeling the cables through the bars.... what is your opinion, high bar is a must on KO?

Agree.

On original rims are no production date as on Kawa rims from those days?

Those scripted rims are horrid IMHO. BUT perfectly functional and I am just an anorak  WAISAD. Rechrome your originals for between £75 and £110 if you want  your bike to be totally original and top ££££ in value. Tell the chromer to be careful to retain the DID diamond logo.

Thanks! Do the new rims have that DID diamond logo too?

I have no idea what an anorak WAISAD is, but I think that's what I am too.

New DID rims cost about 130 - 140  Euros each.

So what do I do with my old rims, that have faded chrome and some rust spots?

De - chroming, grinding and re- chroming would me cost more or less the same as a new one.

What would you do?
Any differences between old rims and new rims?

As far as I can see the new ones have the dimensions engraved on the flanks, my old ones don't

Can you still use those front number plates? That looks really groovy!
IIRC are there some sign painters offering, don't think the German TUV would be very keen about pedestrian-slicers installed though...  ;)

That UK press bike is now for sale at Bonhams.

Just found that in the current classic motorcycle mechanics.

I have an issue with the spark advancer shaft (Pivot) of my current project KO. (part No. 8 on E-7 parts list)

It is too long by some mm as somebody has welded it when it was broken.  :o

I bought a new one but: how do I get out the old one?

Is it just screwed in or is it in addition hold by the engine case itself? Please check out the pics and note that gap before the thread.
