The UK K6 have a green back ground, all the others K0 to K5 have a dark blue back ground. Later models K4 onwards have speedometer at 10mph increments

I would go back to balancing the carbs again, well worth investing in a kit. I had similar problems with my CB750 but it did sort out the low rev lumpy/chain snatch problem
Good luck

Hi Paul,
Have you used a set of 4 vacuum gauges to balance the carbs? I had a number of problems with setting-up my CB750 last year, leaking rubbers/eratic tick-over, purchased a set of gauges and followed the instructions, well worth the money

Hi, I have a CB750 K4, if you post some photo's myself and others can give you some advice. as suggested, your electrics will need to be tested to eliminate cable/connector faults and component failures. Do you have a multimeter?

I have bought a CB750 K4 rear luggage rack (off ebay) which is rusty in parts and will require re-chroming No experience on re-chroming, so any advice on the subject/recommended re-chromer would be appreciated
Thanks

Hi Jock, Just had a look at the 2 books I have (re: engine/frame no's) the K0's started 104****as it was a transition model before the K1, so I would concider your machine to be an origonal CB 750. Well worth the restoration

The tank trim and rear shocks are not correct but the frame and carbs with seperate cords are consistant with a CB750 (1969-1970 model) Engine is a K1, which would have the combined carb linkage. But still a very nice bike! (K=Kariyo)

I would agree too. Bought a battery strap of ebay last year, some months later looking for another part on DS I noticed the same strap was half price...old habits!
